Tom Kitching & Gren Bartley :
Tom Kitching and Gren Bartley play music from a broad range of sources. Their 2nd album ‘Boundary’ (Fellside) seamlessly merges old blues, folk tunes from the US, traditional English song and original material, with the refrain that regardless of genre, some songs are just made to be sung.Equally at home with original songs, old English dance tunes or banjo-infused mountain music, their combined efforts produce a lot more than just something for everyone. Despite their youthful energy, they’ve already developed a mature, multi-layered sound, complete with a fresh edge and the influence of their favoured greats, including Leadbelly, is apparent in not only their choice of music but in their distinctive delivery of it.

Tom and Gren are a fast rising, engaging duo, who are quickly building a well-deserved rapport with audiences around the UK
